Our Story
Sitting atop our 15 ungroomed acres, The Luna Lodge represents processing hardships, starting over and finding peace. While this home began as a simple ‘temple for healing’ it now stands finished as a sanctuary for those in need of comfort. Named after our late dog Luna, this project embodies her stoic memory and Nik’s dad’s vision of a place to become well and live free. With the help of many and the generosity of some, we were able to complete this ideology and we are so excited to share it with each one of you. So remember to plan your time well and enjoy your stay because at the Lodge, these are our rules to live by.

Nik & I met over 10 years ago, and more than 500 miles away, in a small town called Columbia, Maryland. We worked diligently for the better part of a decade together, building both our livelihoods in a market so over-saturated with heavy development, hard-edged expectations and the rare sight of beauty – particularly the awe of our earth and its natural charms. After all those years together, grief and growth, we decided that we needed to risk and then stretch to build a new identity.

We’re just minutes from the sandy fun of Old Orchard Beach, a short drive to the vibrant restaurants, shops, and arts of Portland, and less than 20 minutes from Portland International Jetport (PWM)—making your getaway as convenient as it is relaxing.
